Questions

Will it look exactly like the original?

Close for simple documents: headings, bold, italic and underlined text, lists, tables, links and PNG or JPEG pictures carry over. Fonts, colors, columns, text boxes and headers or footers don't, and the tool tells you when a file has some of those.

Can I select the text in the PDF?

Yes. The text stays real text, so you can search it and copy it.

Can I do several files at once?

Yes. Choose or drop several files. Each one gets the same settings, and you save them all in one ZIP.

What is an RTF file?

Rich Text Format, an older document type that WordPad, TextEdit and Word can all save. It holds text with simple styling.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The tool runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device. Nothing is sent to us or kept after you close the tab.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark on your file and no daily limit.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once the page has loaded you can turn off Wi-Fi and the tool still works.
