How to add headers and footers to a PDF
- Choose a PDF, or several.
- Type in any of the six boxes. The buttons add the page number, page count, date or file name.
- Press Add text and save the file.

Questions
What do {page} and {total} do?
They turn into the page number and the page count, so the footer can read "Page 3 of 12". {date} becomes today's date and {file} the file name.
Can I change the date, font or margins?
Yes. More options has four date styles, three fonts, bold, size, color, the space from the edges and which pages get the text.
Can I do several files at once?
Yes. Choose or drop several files. Each one gets the same settings, and you save them all in one ZIP.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device. Nothing is sent to us or kept after you close the tab.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark on your file and no daily limit.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded you can turn off Wi-Fi and the tool still works.
